Refund Policy

Summary: Monthly subscriptions are not refunded once the billing period has started. Yearly subscriptions may be eligible for a partial refund within 7 days of the initial payment if no content has been accessed. Refunds for technical failures are handled on a case-by-case basis.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a refund on a Cricket Knowledge Hub subscription, how to request one, and how refunds are processed.

Because Cricket Knowledge Hub provides access to digital content that is made available immediately upon payment, our refund terms are more limited than for physical goods. By subscribing, you acknowledge that content access begins immediately and understand the refund terms set out in this policy.

This policy applies to all subscriptions purchased directly through cricketknowledgehub.com. If you purchased through a third-party platform or payment intermediary, their terms may apply.

2. Monthly plan — ₹99/month

Monthly subscriptions are billed once per month. Access to all subscriber content is granted immediately when payment is confirmed.

Monthly plan refunds are not available. Once a monthly payment has been charged, we do not issue refunds for that billing period — including for unused days.

Cancellation

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from the My Profile page under Subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to all content until that date.

Cancelling does not trigger a refund for the current month. It simply prevents the next monthly charge from being made.

Example

If your subscription renews on the 10th of each month and you cancel on the 18th, you will retain access until the 9th of the following month. No charge will be made on the 10th. No refund will be issued for the days between the 18th and the 9th.

3. Yearly plan — ₹999/year

Yearly subscriptions are billed as a single payment of ₹999. Access to all subscriber content is granted immediately when payment is confirmed.

A refund for a yearly plan is only available within 7 days of the initial payment, and only if no lesson content has been accessed during that time.

Refund eligibility window

To be eligible for a refund on a yearly plan, both of the following must be true:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 7 days of the date of your initial payment
  • You have not accessed or viewed any lesson content after subscribing

If either condition is not met, a refund will not be issued.

Renewals

The 7-day refund window applies only to the initial purchase of a yearly subscription. It does not apply to automatic annual renewals. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

Cancellation without refund

If you cancel a yearly subscription outside the 7-day refund window, or after accessing content, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current annual period. No refund will be issued for the remaining months.

In all eligible cases, the refund will be the full amount paid, minus any applicable transaction fees charged by the payment provider that cannot be recovered.

5. When a refund will not be issued

We will not issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • You changed your mind after subscribing and have accessed content
  • You forgot to cancel before an automatic renewal
  • You did not use the subscription during the billing period
  • You found the content unhelpful or it did not improve your performance
  • Your account was suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
  • A yearly plan refund is requested after 7 days from the payment date
  • A refund is requested for an annual renewal rather than an initial subscription
  • You request a refund through a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us
If you raise a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to permanently suspend your account and contest the dispute. Please contact us first — we will do our best to resolve the matter directly.

6. How to request a refund

To request a refund, please contact us through our Contact page. Select "Refund request" as the subject and include the following information:

  • The email address registered to your account
  • Your plan type (monthly or yearly)
  • The date of the payment
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Your invoice or transaction number if available

We will check eligibility based on this policy and confirm whether a refund will be issued. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Refund is processed
If eligible, we initiate the refund to your original payment method. See Section 7 for processing timelines.

Account access ends
Once a refund is issued, your subscription is cancelled and access to subscriber content ends immediately.

7. Refund processing time

Once a refund is approved, we initiate the return to your original payment method. Timelines depend on your payment method:

  • UPI — typically 3 to 5 business days
  • Credit or debit card — typically 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer
  • Net banking — typically 5 to 7 business days

These timelines are outside our control once the refund has been initiated — they depend on your bank or payment provider. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days from the approval date, please contact us and we will follow up with our payment provider.

Refunds are processed to the same payment method used at the time of purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different account or method.

8. Technical issues and platform outages

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing content, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If the platform is completely inaccessible for a continuous period of 72 hours or more due to a fault on our side (not due to your internet connection, device or browser), you may be eligible for a partial credit or refund for the affected period. These cases are reviewed individually.

Planned maintenance, brief outages and issues caused by factors outside our control (such as third-party infrastructure failures) do not constitute grounds for a refund.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

The refund terms that apply to a given payment are the terms in effect at the time that payment was made.
